A wonderful inspiration for all who wish for a wedding at the beautiful Lake Como is the wedding of Manuel and Macarena! The pair of doctors from Switzerland fell in love with a truly enchanting villa – with an idyllic garden, lake view and a unique location. The location for the couple and their 85 guests from the Zurich area was not only easy to reach – the location of the villa directly on the lake also provided the perfect venue for an open-air wedding ceremony.
After the arrival of their guests, Manuel and Macarena exchanged vows at a ceremony in the garden of the villa, with a view of the lake. Besides the wonderful scenery, the musical stylings of the live band provided something special. What should always follow a fabulous ceremony like that: a delicious, typically Italian aperitif! Afterwards we went on to photograph the happy day for our couple – you can find a selection of the most beautiful pictures below. We were spoilt for choice when it came to picking the ideal backdrop for photographs, because with such a fantastic scenery unforgettable photos are practically assured. Later on in the evening we went on with the meal: after a 4-course-menu we had a dolce buffet and of course a wedding cake. The dinner itself was underpinned with great live music and included delicacies such as risotto with herbs from the villa’s own garden, fresh lavaret fillet, tender beef steaks and much more! At around midnight, a further highlight followed with the last item on the programme: a private boat brought the guests to Bellagio, more precisely Lido di Bellagio, one of the hottest discotheques on Lake Como. There they danced and celebrated until the early hours of the morning before returning to the hotel for some much needed rest. A successful conclusion for an unforgettable wedding at Lake Como, which will not only be remembered by Macerena, Manuel and their guests, but also by us for a long time.
